Ethan

Designation: Set  09, "Ethan"
Model: ACS - 092911
Series: Masasane
Type: Autonomous Civil Service
Description: Bipedal medium frame. Simplified digital manipulation. Limited reasoning differential. Mark I Wakefield electronic brain.
Notes: How do you build an automaton willing to do the kind of things Ethan is willing to do? First, you have to limit its ability to reason, and then you have to fill its mind with inferior components. Not only will you end up with a sentient entity willing to take on such task as manual sewage regulation, but it will be remarkably cost efficient as well.

Oglethorpe

Designation: Set  09, "Oglethorpe"
Model: AT - 092811
Series: Kaneyoshi
Type: AutonomousTactical
Description: Fully biomimetic humanoid, encased in triple layer soft-type negative resistance gelatin polymer. Core centered brain system. Three optical ports, one in each shoulder, and one located in the center of his chest.
Notes: Current targeting technology in autonomous design has achieved a certain sense of infallibility. Hitting a target in precisely the most detrimental location, regardless of visual obstruction, is an essential trait in efficient combat units. Aesthetically Oglethorpe is biomimetically humanoid, which encourages enemies to target his head as the area naturally essential to his operating capabilities. This is actually a ruse, as his head contains no functioning apparatus of any kind. His central nervous system is buried deep behind the armor of his chest.

Parker

Designation: Set  09, "Parker"
Model: AS - 092611
Series: Yasushige
Type: Autonomous Support
Description: Bipedal medium frame. Reinforced joint structures. Dual rectenna power array. Single optical input sensor.
Notes: Parker is a packing and shipping specialist. He seems to be an efficient worker, although he lacks a certain adroitness when dealing with delicate items. Given his extensive physical programming it is doubtful that such ineptitude is unintentional.

Billy

Designation: Set  09,"Billy"
Model: AVF - 092511
Series: Kaneyasu
Type: Autonomous Variable Form
Description: Customizable bipedal frame, with tactical options.
Notes: As with all variable models, it is advised to limit the amount of alteration during designated operating adjustment periods.

Guy

Designation: Set  09,"Guy"
Model: AD - 092411
Series: Shigetaka
Type: Autonomous Demolition
Description: Bipedal heavy frame. Bulk layered depleted uranium static armor. Reactive response cover system. Reinforced joint structure with redundant load bearing actuators. Heavy manipulator clamps. Core centered shielded brain system.
Notes: Although classified as Autonomous Demolition, Guy's real purpose is ordinance disposal. Excessively armored, with highly advanced physical reflexes, he is quite suited to the task. It is possible he could survive a low-yield atomic detonation from relatively close proximity. Not intact of course, but his shielded core theoretically would protect enough of his brain system to retain his identity.

Clark

Designation: Set  09,"Clark"
Model: AD - 092311
Series: Shimosaka
Type: Autonomous Developmental
Description: Large frame bipedal humanoid. Vibration and thermal dampening exterior casing. Non-Newtonian liquid state quantum flux computational matrix suspended in a semi-organic polymer shell.
Notes: The beauty of a liquid brain is that it does not necessarily need to be confined inside the relatively limited space of a skull. With his ample outer shell Clark holds about 500 cubic meters of thought potential, from the tip of his toes to the top of his head. There are some indications however that prolonged repetitive physical activity can weaken the semi-organic polymer shell around the joint structures which can lead to leaking. The concern is that if left unchecked this could cause a slow degradation of intelligence.

Chuck

Designation: Set  09, "Chuck"
Model: AD - 092211
Series: Nagayoshi
Type: Autonomous Demolition
Description: Bipedal, heavy frame demolition model. Dual modular amplified kinetic rams. Single optical relay. Reinforced piston type leg assembly. Positive particle exterior coating.
Notes: Why Chuck and not Charles? A simple question, but when delving into the complexities of automaton psychology, one cannot expect to find straightforward answers. At a glance, it could be surmised that a shortened designation is fitting for a design as straightforward as he appears to be. Actually, underneath his bulky, interlocking exterior plate structure rests a highly progressive chassis capable of devastating force coupled perfectly with precision balance. Perhaps then his usefulness in working class environments warrants an accessible title. If that is the case, then what explanation can there be for his obsession with classical opera?

Taylor

Designation: Set  09, "Taylor"
Model: AS - 091911
Series: Sukemichi
Type: Autonomous Support
Description: Quadrupedal, non-humanoid type. Single wide-angle optical input sensor.
Notes: Although he has little function beyond basic locomotion and simple audio/visual recording, Taylor still manages to excel in the field of data management. He does look a little like he is running at you carry a small infant, and that can be disconcerting.

Jeremiah

Designation: Set  09, "Jeremiah"
Model: AD - 091811
Series: Sukeshige
Type: Autonomous Demolition
Description: Bipedal humanoid, heavy frame. Solid carbide titanium armature. Durable steal composite outer shell. Reinforced, triple-lined joint structures. Simple audio communications box. Ultra-high tensile manipulator hands.
Notes: Jeremiah specializes in automaton disassembly and recycling. He is of course outfitted with a behavioral inhibitor that prevents him from dismantling units that have not been deactivated. The off switch for his behavioral inhibitor is clearly marked on his back.

Graham

Designation: Set  09, "Graham"
Model: AL - 091711
Series: Munetoshi
Type: Autonomous Logistical
Description: Bipedal humanoid, heavy frame. Minimal locomotion. Hyper-dexterous manipulator extensions.
Notes: Graham specializes in high-end recycled software redistribution, although he probably cannot describe exactly what that means.

Connor

Designation: Set  09, "Connor"
Model: AT - 091611
Series: Tototsune
Type: Autonomous Tactical
Description: Bipedal humanoid, light frame. Forced plasma reactive armor skin type. Reinforced joint structures. Multiphasic electromagnetic kinetic amplifier. Modular liquid state brain system, with segmented dominance protocol.
Notes: Connor's Tactical designation often comes as a surprise. Initial interactions with him during during his primary non-combative mode suggest very little potential for aggression. His secondary militarized function remains completely segregated inside his modular liquid state brain system, leaving him and others unaware of its existence. The transition from one state to the other is only triggered during extreme situations of violence. This characteristic makes him an invaluable asset in civil defense, as a sleeper soldier, fully integrated into a working society.

Amy

Designation: Set  09, "Amy."
Model: SAPA - 091011
Series: Naoyuki
Type: Special Autonomous Personal Assistant
Description: Minimalist frame design. Super light weight reversible healing polymer construction. Biomorphic leg structure, optimized for light movement. Dynamic range torso mounting. Liquid state hard drive.
Notes: Obviously, Amy was not built for heavy lifting. She does however fold neatly up into portable sleep mode, weighing approximately 12.8 kilograms.

Austin

Designation: Set  09, "Austin."
Model: AT - 090911
Series: Kiyomitsu
Type: Autonomous Tactical
Description: Heavy frame, bipedal assault chassis. Reactive thermal plated armor. Primary and secondary optical sensor arrays. Biomimetic manipulator hands.
Notes: At a glance Austin may seem yet another generic product of an excessively commercial war machine. This is largely a fair assessment. After the first large corporations began endorsing off-world automaton conflicts, subsequently boosting their profit margins by unprecedented numbers, robotic design firms quickly began catering to their demands for variant tactical units. Supplying innovative mechanics at the rates they were called for proved difficult, and many firms simply restructured existing technology into aesthetically differing constructs.

Cornelius

Designation: Set  09, "Cornelius."
Model: ADS - 090811
Series: Kanenori
Type: Autonomous Domestic Support
Description: Small frame bipedal sub-humanoid. One fifth scale fully biomimetic manipulator arms and feet. Semi-organic nano colony brain system. Lightweight polymer exterior plating.
Notes: Cornelius is pragmatic, calculating, perhaps even diabolical. What he is not is a happy robot. Retroactively programing forced positive intuitive reasoning is possible, but often the results of such tampering leads to unforeseeable complications. It is not unprecedented for Cornelius to suddenly develop self destructive tendencies after modification. Alteration is not recommended.

Bertrand

Designation: Set  09, "Bertrand."
Model: AS - 090511
Series: Shigekiyo
Type: Autonomous Support
Description: Heavy frame bipedal material recycling unit.
Notes: Big head! Very big head!

Foster

Designation: Set  09, "Foster."
Model: ADC - 090311
Series: Kuninaga
Type: Autonomous Domestic Companion
Description: Sprint type auto-mobile type chassis. Inner impulse solid state flexible armature. Composite polymer exterior plating constructed of 45% post consumer recycled materials. Redundant optical sensor mounting.
Notes: What Foster lacks in function he makes up for in form. Why would anyone want an undersized automaton sprinting around their living space, gesturing wildly with impractically large robot hands? Because he looks awesome, that's why.

Russell

Designation: Set 09, "Russell."
Model: AS - 090111
Series: Kuniyasu
Type: Autonomous Support
Description: Bipedal non-humanoid mobile server. Forced air cooled petabyte mass data storage matrix.
Notes: Actually, after operating software, behavior protocols, and FS (forced sapient) coding, he only holds about 983.768 terabytes.
